One day dedicated to expatriation in Paris on March 30th 2016
This is a unique event, in France, dedicated to expatriation. This year, for its 7th edition, it will take place at the International House of the Cité Universitaire in Paris next 30th of March.

Organised under the patronage of the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, the promotion of tourism and the French from abroad, this is the only event that brings together all major institutional players of expatriation and international mobility:
- The pension insurance, - The fund for French abroad (CFE) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, - The Humanis group (social protection group) - The Notaries of France - etc.
An event for all people having an international project
This event is for students, entrepreneurs and individuals (employees, partners, job seekers, retirees) who wish to settle, study, work or spend their retirement abroad.
addition to the booths presenting the different experts of expatriation, where personal interviews will be offered to visitors, the event organizes throughout the day thematic conferences on all subjects related to expatriation, plus testimonies of expatriates.
The previous edition in 2015 attracted more than 1400 people…
Focus on UK
Each year the event highlights one country, after China last year, it will be UK this year!
This is not surprising when one knows that UK is the third most popular destination among French expatriates: they would be more than 300 000 people (source: figures 2015, MAEDI).
According to the Register of French outside France, these expats stay there about 5.7 years and more than a third of them are aged from 25 to 40 years.
This destination has many advantages such as its proximity to the Hexagon, its economic dynamism or its great flexibility in employment; but it should not overshadow the costs of housing and transport, which are generally higher than in France.
